Ausdance Queensland is the State’s peak body representing the interests of Queensland’s dance community.
Vision:
The dance sector develops and thrives within an environment where new ideas can flourish; artists can continue to explore and excel; communities can see and participate in dance; where dance is an integral part of every young person’s education; and dance artists can pursue sustainable careers within the sector.
Mission:
Ausdance Queensland advocates for and directly supports the making of independent dance and career pathways for dancers.
Ausdance Queensland wish to support members’ dance development through our ADQ Making Space program. Ausdance Qld will subsidise the rental of creative development spaces by 50%. This offer is in place at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts in Brisbane and is being applied elsewhere in Queensland. Please approach us with your proposal if you have a space/project in mind.
